I designed this branding package for a little Italian cafe in London - it's fictional, but I wanted to exercise my typography skills. I have always been inspired by Italian typography and was desperate to try out some ideas in a logotype. The architecture of the cafe was also a big inspiration, hence the pattern adorning the bottom of the cups below.
I formed the original letters into a full typeface, for the cafe to use on all kinds of branding. The branding package includes the custom typography, a colour palette, a group of logo variations and lockdowns, takeaway cup designs, a loyalty points system and a shop sign concept.
The loyalty points system makes use of an old coin stamp owned by the cafe. Customers receive a token for every coffee they buy, once they collect 5, they can spend the tokens on a free coffee. Of course these coins were brought in line with the rest of the brand identity.
